Common ways
to preserve fruits

Apples need to be stored separately from other fruits as they release a lot of ethylene gas. To prevent excessive evaporation and drying, wrap them one by one in newspaper (or paper), seal them in a plastic bag, and then store them in a refrigerator or a cool and dark place with good ventilation.
